Why Bundle Product is not Working and How to Fix It?

You have noticed that your bundle products are not bundled in the cart/checkout or you have seen this error message:

This means the original bundle product that was linked to your builder no longer exists. Don't worry - you can resolve it quickly depending on the origin of the issue.


Situation 1: Deleted Bundle Product


If you've deleted the bundle product, you'll need to recreate it. Follow these steps:


  1. Open the Boxi app admin dashboard
  2. Click on the builder that shows the issue
  3. In the builder form, click Bundle setup
  4. Select the Individual products option and click Save
  5. Next, switch back to the Single bundle option and click Save again
  6. After saving, a new bundle product will be automatically created and linked to your builder - make sure to keep it active.


Situation 2: Product Visibility and Status


Even if your bundle product exists, it may not appear in your store if it’s not active or published.


  1. Product status: ensure the product status is set to Active. If it’s marked as Draft or Archived, it won’t appear in your online store.
  2. Sales channels: make sure the bundle product is published to your Online Store channel. You can check this in the product’s Sales channels section.


Situation 3: App Conflicts


If the issue persists, another app might be interfering with Boxi’s bundle functionality.


Some third-party apps (especially those that modify the cart, checkout, or product structure) may cause conflicts.

If you suspect a compatibility issue, please contact Boxi Customer Support for assistance.


After completing these steps, your bundle should appear correctly in the cart and checkout again.
