How to Add Custom Fields to Products?
You want to offer a box of personalized products for your customers, for example:
- A greeting card with a custom message
- A mug or cup with a photo printed on it
- A logo or note for corporate gift boxes
- A name embroidered on a jacket or a design provided by the customer

Steps to Add Custom Fields
- Open the Boxi app admin dashboard
- In the list of builders, click on the one you want to add custom fields
- Navigate to the Product personalizations section and click on it

- Click Create personalization

- Click Browse and select the product you want to add custom fields to - make sure this product is already included in your builder

- Click Add custom field, then choose the type of field you want to add - e.g., select Image upload to let customers upload a photo

- Add a Label (e.g., “Photo”) and choose whether the field should be required
- Click Done, then Save your changes. You can add more fields if you want.

- Open your builder on store and find the product with custom field.

✅ That’s it!
When the customer adds the box to cart, the personalized product will have a line item property with the value of the custom field.
